Virtua in Voorhees Township, NJ is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the Pharmacist in dispensing and distribution functions. You will support acquisition, storage and dispensing of medications under supervision, and help maintain accurate inventory and documentation.

Responsibilities include preparing medications, filling orders, exchanges and deliveries, IV sterile products preparation, unit-dose packaging, and maintaining automated dispensing devices.

Competenze

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Must apply for Board registration within 10 days of hire.
• Board registration provided within 180 days.

Summary:

Assists Pharmacist in the overall dispensing and distribution functions.

Performs various technical and non-technical duties related to the acquisition, storage and dispensing of medications.

Position Responsibilities:

• Performs medication exchanges, pick-ups and deliveries.
• Demonstrates knowledge of IV sterile products preparation.
• Prepare unit dose medication from bulk packaging.
• Performs inventory management and documentation.
• Maintains automated dispensing devices.
• Perform medication area inspections.

Required Education:

HS graduate or GED required.

Training/Certifications/Licensure:

Pharmacy technicians must apply to the Board for registration within 10 days of hire. The Board will provide the registration within 180 days.

Hourly Rate: $19.99 - $29.99 The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant's experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
