M-F 8:30am-5:30pm / Sat 8:30am-5pm

Responsibilities

1. Order Entry for new/refill medications.
2. File documentation as required by pharmacy regulations.
3. Respond to customer inquiries as necessary.
4. Fill drug kits under direct supervision applying accuracy and aseptic technique.
5. Match preprinted label and delivery manifests with a source document.
6. Locate medication from pharmacy supply area, count out, and package in correct system, including blister packs and vials.
7. Pre-package medications according to standard procedures.
8. Assist in other phases of computer operations including billing procedures.
9. Clean all equipment and work areas.
10. Check equipment for calibration and safety.
11. Rotate stock as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician, preferred.
• Previous pharmacy experience required.
• Excellent data entry skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
