Continuum Rx in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support dispensing, inventory, and customer solutions from our corporate headquarters.

You will work with operations teams, perform labeling, quality checks, and ensure accurate shipments. A state-registered pharmacy technician license is preferred, with strong computer and data-entry skills. Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30am–5:30pm.

Qualificações

• Preferred Pharmacy Technician license with the State Board of Pharmacy.
• Current, active and in good standing technician license/registration in the state of employment
• Previous experience working in a Retail / Specialty Pharmacy / Physician Office / Insurance
• Organizational skills are sufficient to maintain consistently accurate records.
• Ability to evaluate options and to make efficient decisions.
• Computer skills with spreadsheets, internet, word processing and email.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy applications.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Data entry skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs accurate dispensing functions related to lot assignments, label printing, and supplies.
• Performs quality checks prior to pharmacist verification and organizing medications for pharmacist verification.
• Ensures all names and addresses are correct on each label and shipment.
• Confirms all pending dispenses and shipments at end of day.
• Orders / maintains an accurate inventory of nursing supplies, medications, shipping supplies, etc.
• Assists with inventory management and inventory count.
• Represent the pharmacy in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with patients, providers, and peers.
• Work collaboratively with internal staff to ensure all issues are addressed in a timely manner.
• Report any misconduct, suspicious or unethical activities to the Compliance Officer.
• Additional tasks as required by management.
