Job summary

Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy in Grovetown, GA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to enter new or refill orders, adjudicate insurance claims, and manage order exceptions on our order entry team. This onsite role supports our long-term care pharmacy services nationwide.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm EST. Qualifications include one year of order entry experience, GA license, and typing 60 wpm with strong communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in order entry in a retail or long-term care pharmacy setting.
• GA State Board of Pharmacy Technician License required.
• PTCB certification preferred but not required.
• Experience with FrameworkLTC preferred but not required.
• Typing at least 60 words per minute.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet order deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of basic pharmacy language and the ability to interpret prescriptions.
• Ability to perform pharmacy calculations.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

• Is available for occasional overtime.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to withstand long hours of computer screen time.
