Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required per state regulations.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration per state requirements; PTCB preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of related pharmacy experience; strong computer skills expected.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Enter and process prescriptions into the pharmacy operating system accurately and quickly.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions to ensure timely dispensing.
• Ensure proper notes and cycle fill coding in the system.
• Verify dosages based on prescriptions and communicate with customers by phone.
• Maintain quality service while handling high-volume workload.
• Assist with filing, inventory, and order processing as needed.
• Develop proficiency with all pharmacy systems used.
• Support delivery deadlines and document data entry for cycles and renewals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
