Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required per state rules.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration; National Certification (PTCB) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter and process prescriptions accurately to avoid dispensing errors.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions for timely dispensing.
• Maintain notes in the computer and cycle fill coding.
• Calculate and verify dosage based on the prescription.
• Respond to customer calls with care and accuracy.
• Ensure all prescriptions are completed during the shift.
• Coordinate with doctors' offices on all refills.
• Utilize pharmacy systems and document imaging.
• Assist with filing, packaging, inventory, and dispensing.
• Meet delivery deadlines and maintain data-entry records.
