Job summary

Community Health Network in the United States is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to ensure medications and supplies are provided accurately and promptly in compliance with standard procedures and regulatory standards.

You will select medications for dispensing, perform sterile compounding using aseptic technique, and deliver medications to the proper location in a timely fashion while maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base and contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Indiana Pharmacy Technician License or Indiana Pharmacy Intern License required.
• National Certification required within 2 years of hire unless you are a Pharmacy Intern.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently select medications for dispensing.
• Compound sterile products using aseptic technique.
• Deliver medications and supplies to the proper location in a timely fashion.
• Maintain contemporary professional knowledge base.
• Participate in the evaluation, development, and implementation of process improvement.
• Perform basic compounding and calculations.
• Communicate with patients, their families, and hospital staff in a positive and professional manner.

The Pharmacy Technician will ensure that medications and supplies are provided to the customer in an accurate and timely manner in compliance with standard procedures, Joint Commission, State Department of Health, and other regulatory standards.

Your exceptional qualifications

• Indiana Pharmacy Technician License or Indiana Pharmacy Intern License
• Previous pharmaceutical or related healthcare experience preferred.
• National Certification required within 2 years of hire unless you are a Pharmacy Intern
• Pharmacy Tech, Pharm Tec
