***This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in either the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel will likely be required.***

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Document care delivered and follow-up care required for all Healthcare Providers (HCPs).
2. Participate in meetings and task force groups to improve quality, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and stay informed on new developments, efforts, and policies.
3. Assist with managing daily activities and prioritizing tasks.
4. Use a personal computer to access email, electronic calendars, and office software.
5. Comply with all applicable standards and guidelines.
6. Maintain patient dignity and observe the American Hospital Association's Bill of Rights.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.
8. Dispense prescription drugs and healthcare products, and perform pharmacy-related functions.
9. Assist pharmacists in developing extended clinical pharmacy roles, such as independent prescribing, and ensure the security of pharmaceuticals and control of inventory.

Qualifications:

1. Complete a formal Pharmacy Technician training program leading to a diploma, certificate, or associate's degree.
2. Have at least two years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
3. Participate in training, including HIPAA training.
4. Maintain current CPR certification.
5. Recent clinical experience in patient care for at least 6 months in the past year is required for healthcare providers and support staff.

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions:

1. Work is typically performed in an interior/office environment.
2. Involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods.
