Job summary

Amazon Pharmacy is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician in Sauget, IL to support both kiosk operations and in-pharmacy workflow. The role includes driving between pharmacy locations, refilling kiosks, and preparing orders for customer shipments.

You will assist pharmacists, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. A valid technician license and certification are required, with flexibility for shifts and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in state of employment.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months of working with computer and web based tools experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive from physical Pharmacy locations to our remote Pharmacy Kiosk locations with company provided vehicle.
• Refill Pharmacy Kiosks with medication, paper, clean machine, and collect discarded inventory for return.
• Prepare inventory shipments for Kiosk replenishment.
• Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the state board of pharmacy.
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Work daily with Leadership to ensure the right medications are put in the right orders.
• Run automated machinery required to pre-sort and package medications.
• Fill exception trays with appropriate medication.
• Transition Amazon Pharmacy orders through different workflow stages from initial dispense through quality control.
• Count and fill prescription vials and affix labels on bulk prescription items.
• Pack and ship completed orders including printing and affixing appropriate labels on dispenser, shipping boxes.
• Sort and triage the right boxes to ship at the right time.
• Aid the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting, and packing.
• Clean, and help maintain, equipment and work areas within the pharmacy.
• Package medications for dispensing and for delivery.
