Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Pharmacy Technician in Augusta, GA. You will dispense prescriptions under a Registered Pharmacist, perform clerical duties, and help maintain inventory in a fast‑paced mental health pharmacy.

Requirements include an active Georgia Pharmacy Technician license, 2+ years of experience, and reliable transportation. Schedule Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, on-site in Augusta.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Georgia Pharmacy Technician license.
• Minimum of 2 years of technician experience.
• Access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Fills prescription orders under direct supervision of a Pharmacist.
• Provides exceptional customer service to patients and clinic staff.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Processes wholesaler medication orders and maintains inventory records.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer system.
• Supports pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with federal/state requirements.
• Performs clerical duties related to the department.
