Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Part Time Pharmacy Technician to support the Genoa mental health pharmacy. You will dispense prescriptions, perform clerical duties under a Pharmacist, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Hours are 24 hours per week with potential to flex to 40; location is Paducah, KY. Requirements include KY license and reliable transportation; certification is preferred with additional benefits and a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Kentucky.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Preferred: National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
• Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of a Pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.
• Assists pharmacist with pharmacy functions and compliance with federal/state requirements.
• Performs various clerical duties related to the department.
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Other duties as assigned.
