Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our mental health and specialty pharmacy services in Pueblo, CO. You will dispense prescriptions under the supervision of a registered pharmacist and perform essential clerical tasks while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm MST, with a focus on accurate data entry, inventory management, and excellent customer service for patients and

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Colorado.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.
• Experience with pharmacy data entry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.
• Works with the Pharmacist to assist in pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department.
• Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Other duties as assigned.
