**Responsibilities**
The remote Pharmacy Technician, Medication Adherence will perform activities or tasks to support the national Pharmacy team by assisting patients with barriers in filling their medications. This team currently serves the WI, TN and IN markets, with potential for expansion.
+ Serve as a liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professionals by providing necessary information.
+ Communicate with patients, staff, pharmacy, and health professionals by phone through high volume in-bound and out-bound calls.
+ Perform activities or tasks for virtual pharmacy services. Perform specialized areas as medicine history, buyer and other inventory related areas, nuclear, and PAP as a pharmacy technician
**Requirements**
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
+ One or more of the following required:
+ Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed. Must possess all state and local qualifications.
+ Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Must possess all state and local qualifications. Licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.
Education:
+ High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
+ Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
**Additional Preferences**
+ Strong communication skills
+ 2+ years of retail pharmacy technician experience
+ Experience processing insurance claims and assisting in medication adherence programs, highly preferred
+ Strong computer skills with ability to navigate multiple online platforms in a virtual environment
