Qualifications

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Effective oral and written English communication.
• Strong ability to multitask.
• Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with others.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and appropriate inventories of medications and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with team members, physicians, and patients.
• Prepare intravenous admixtures under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Compound medication according to standard pharmacy practices.
• Deliver and fill medications accurately.
• Prepare and package medications requiring special handling.
• Maintain all necessary paperwork for medications.
• Participate in departmental quality-assurance activities.
