Qualifications

• Education equivalent to completion of the twelfth school grade.
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician by the PTCB or ICPT.
• One year of experience assisting a pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of medications.
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience determined acceptable by the Office of Human Resources.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and repackaging bulk medications.
• Handle prescriptions from health center patients and prepare medications under supervision.
