Qualifications
- Active Minnesota Pharmacy Technician License required.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a pharmacy setting.
- Ability to operate a computer and use pharmacy systems.
- Detail oriented with good communication.
Responsibilities
- Enter and verify medication orders in a computerized system with high accuracy.
- Conduct basic drug calculations, including dosages.
- Investigate and resolve pharmacy claim denials in POS systems.
- Stay current with Medicaid claim regulations and compliance.
- Track unpaid or delayed claims and generate reports for management.
- Provide excellent customer service in line with company policies.
- Assist with medication preparation and dispensing under pharmacist supervision.
- Support additional pharmacy tasks as directed by management.
