Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician license/certification per state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of related experience; advanced computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions accurately into the operating system.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions and ensure timely dispensing.
• Calculate and verify correct dosage based on prescriptions.
• Respond courteously to customer calls and route as needed.
• Maintain notes and cycle fill coding in the system.
• Develop proficiency in all pharmacy systems used.
• Assist with filing, packaging, inventory, and order processing as needed.
