Meijer Inc. in Michigan is seeking a Pharmacist to join our retail pharmacy team. You will retrieve medications, input prescription data, process labels, adjudicate claims, and manage dispensing paperwork to ensure accurate patient care.

You will also order medications, stock shelves, promote clinical services, maintain confidentiality, and uphold a clean, professional workspace while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Retrieving the appropriate medication from inventory.
• Inputting customer and prescription information in the pharmacy dispensing system.
• Creating prescription labels and adjudicating insurance claims.
• Completing paperwork related to filling prescriptions and receiving drug orders.
• Ordering prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stocking prescription medication.
• Promoting pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to the customer.
• Prioritizing workload and maintaining confidentiality.
