Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a pharmacist for our Michigan-based retail pharmacy. You will ensure accurate dispensing, maintain inventory, process prescriptions and insurance claims, and promote clinical services to customers.

We value friendly, professional service, confidentiality, and teamwork. This role requires high school diploma or state-equivalent, reliability, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Retail/Community Pharmacy experience is expected.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Retrieving the appropriate medication from inventory.
• Inputting customer and prescription information in the pharmacy system.
• Creating prescription labels and adjudicating insurance claims.
• Completing paperwork related to filling prescriptions and drug orders.
• Ordering prescription medication for the Pharmacy Department.
• Stocking prescription medication.
• Promoting pharmacy initiatives and clinical services to customers.
• Prioritizing workload and maintaining accuracy.
• Using effective communication and supporting change initiatives.
• Maintaining a clean, professional, confidential pharmacy environment.
