Carle Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist in providing pharmaceutical care across Carle Foundation Hospital and related locations. The role involves technical tasks including filing, compounding, reconstitution, labeling, and delivery of medications.

Responsibilities include preparing chemotherapy drugs, handling Omnicell restock, processing prescriptions, and supporting training materials and billing.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician certification preferred or licensed by state.
• Ability to prepare and label chemotherapy drugs.
• Experience with Omnicell restock lists and general pharmacy operations.

Responsabilités

• Accurately and safely prepare and label chemotherapy drugs for administration.
• Accurately fill and deliver Omnicell restock lists.
• Assist in developing and maintaining training materials as needed.
• Enter and process new prescriptions and refills.
• Fill medication orders accurately and timely, including unit dose and take-home prescriptions.
• Assist in billing functions and inventory control.
