Adventist Health Twin Cities in Templeton, CA seeks a pharmacy technician to support the pharmacist in filling unit-dose cassettes, stocking medications, and processing medication orders in a fast-paced hospital setting. The role is full-time and requires a valid state pharmacy technician license with preferred additional education or board certification.

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
• Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
• State Pharmacy Technician license: Required
• Pharmaceutical Technician Board certification: Preferred
• State Pharmacy Technician license: Required

Responsabilidades

• Pulls medications from stock and matches medications with the corresponding label generated by the pharmacist involved with entry of medication orders into the patient’s computer generated profile in an accurate manner.
• Maintains floor stock (restocking, removal of expired medications, rotate stock) of nursing areas and other medication areas. Prices and stocks in-coming deliveries.
• Prepares IV medication products within the guidelines of applicable laws and regulations.
• Checks in orders from wholesaler and suppliers. Distributes appropriately the stock and file paperwork; processes returns and back orders in a timely manner.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Educación
