Job summary

Apploi is seeking an on-site Pharmacy Technician in Kansas. The role supports pharmacists by preparing medications, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring proper inventory control. The tech will handle sterile admixtures, IV preparations, and distribution of meds across departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or desirable.
• 2–3 years pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Certification or registration as a pharmacy technician with state board/PTCB encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Fills physician orders, medication carts, and stock requisitions accurately.
• Prepares intravenous admixtures and sterile preparations safely and accurately.
• Delivers medications and supplies to patient care areas per schedule.
• Assists in ordering, receiving, unpacking, and storing medications and supplies.
• Repackages bulk medications into unit-dose packages safely and accurately.
• Maintains inventory in automated dispensing machines and reconciles inventories.
• Refills controlled substances accurately and adheres to state laws and facility policy.
