Job summary

Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to join the clinical team to provide patients with friendly, efficient, and timely delivery of medications verified by the licensed Pharmacist.

The Tech I may be trained by Tech II or Tech III and will assist in specialty pharmacy coordination when needed. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and a Kansas Pharmacy Tech License.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Kansas Pharmacy Tech License required
• Continued education completed as required
• Successful completion of Pharmacy Technician I checklist within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Provides friendly, efficient service to patients and visitors
• Operates cash register and handles payments
• Stocks inventory and removes expired items
• Processes prescriptions into the computer system and coordinates with Pharmacist
