Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy Technician Candidate's license or Certified Pharmacy Technician license.
• Good communication, customer service, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Courier rounds: delivers medication to inpatient units and STAT medications as needed.
• Respond to incoming calls courteously and direct to appropriate personnel.
• Fill missing medication reorder requests and manage inventory and restocking.
• Process medication orders for stat meds, patient-specific orders, and ADC batch fills.
• Fill ADS cabinets for inpatient, outpatient, and anesthesia workstations and track expirations.
• Update medication expiration dates in ADC and rotate stock to minimize waste.
• Assist pharmacist with monthly unit inspections and adherence to safety and infection control standards.
• Assist with IV admixture under sterile conditions and label admixtures for use.
• Support annual physical inventory and assist with unpacking and restocking deliveries.
• Complete tasks and collaborate with the Director or Informatics Coordinator on special projects.
