Job summary

FMOL Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician 1 to support a busy inpatient and outpatient pharmacy. Under supervision, you will assist with compounding, dispensing prescriptions, inventory management, and data entry to maintain records.

Responsibilities include medication delivery, stock checks, ADC operations, and quality control tasks. The role requires entering data accurately and complying with hospital policies to ensure safe patient care.

Qualifications

• Education - High School diploma or GED.
• Special Skills - Good communication, customer service, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Courier rounds: deliver medications to inpatient units and STAT requests.
• Respond to calls politely and assist the inpatient pharmacy window.
• Fill missing medication reorder requests and manage stock transfers.
• Process medication orders for stat meds and ADC batch fills.
• Fill ADCs for inpatient, outpatient, and anesthesia work stations with meds and scan barcodes.
• Update expiration dates and rotate stock to prevent expiry.
• Assist pharmacist with monthly inventory and quality control checks.
• Assist with IV admixture under sterile conditions and maintain clean rooms.
• Participate in annual physical inventory and communicate stock changes.
