AbsoluteCare is hiring a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support technicians, manage inventory, and train new staff in Dayton, OH. You will help open/close procedures, assist the pharmacy manager with prescriptions, and ensure accurate, secure operations while delivering medications to patients.
The position requires a license and PTCB certification, with 1 year of technician experience and strong customer service focus.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician.
- State Pharmacy Technician License required.
- PTCB Certification required.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse population.
- Team and customer service oriented.
Responsabilités
- Provide and ensure excellent customer service to all pharmacy customers.
- Follow federal, state, DEA regulations and company policies.
- Input prescriptions for new fills and refills accurately per order.
- Fill prescriptions and deliver to the pharmacist for review.
- Check electronic system for prescriptions and processing promptly.
- Assist with patient billing, AR management, delivery and reminders.
- Maintain accurate patient records and demographics.
- Demonstrate knowledge of pharmacy and practice management systems.
- Review medications for interactions and follow-up appointments with providers.
- Assist with inventory management and distribution of orders.
