Job summary

CHCP is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Instructor to deliver competency-based education, develop instructional plans for residential and blended learning, and evaluate student progress. The role emphasizes ethical practice, mutual respect, and professional growth within CHCP’s Pharmacy Technician program.

The candidate should have a pharmacy technician background with teaching experience as a plus, and be prepared to engage in continuous professional development and program advisory activities.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy or National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA).
• Graduate of a pharmacy technician program; teaching experience is a plus but not required.
• Minimum of 4 years of in-field experience in pharmacy practice.
• At least 2 years of experience in hospital settings and sterile compounding.

Responsibilities

• Deliver competency-based education that aligns with CHCP's curriculum model and system delivery standards.
• Develop and execute instructional plans for residential and blended learning environments to meet course objectives and competencies.
• Facilitate student achievement of exit competencies through effective instruction and evaluation methods.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and reports, ensuring compliance with academic policies.
• Contribute to curriculum development by incorporating industry trends and professional experiences into course content.
