CNM Central New Mexico Community College is seeking a part-time instructor to deliver high-quality instruction in pharmacy technician coursework. Courses are assigned as needed, with hours varying by term and enrollment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher OR actively pursuing an Associate's with a 3-year completion plan.
• Current National Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or licensed Pharmacist.
• Current NM Board of Pharmacy Registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician or a Pharmacist.
• Current memberships in state and national pharmacy or education associations (proof of membership required).
• Minimum of five years of experience in the practice of pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, teach, grade, and assess student learning in courses assigned.
• Create a quality learning environment for a diverse student population including students with disabilities or special learning needs.
• Maintain student records and document in-completes within established College timelines.
• Utilize technology-based programs to access and input information related to student records and college processes.
• Assist students with registration, advising, and graduation processes.
• Structure classes and curriculum to correspond with program and course outcomes.
• Convene classes as scheduled and respond to student inquiries.
• Attend in-service sessions and department meetings as required.
