Job summary

HealthPartners' Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the team. Under a Pharmacist's supervision, you will participate in the timely dispensing of sterile and non-sterile medications to patients, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.

The position features an overnight 7 on/7 off schedule. Minnesota Pharmacy Technician registration is required; CPhT certification is preferred, with open consideration for non-certified applicants who

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Certification as CPhT through PTCB or ExCPT is required or eligible for non-certified applicants.

Responsibilities

Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Pharmacy Technician to join our Methodist Hospital Pharmacy team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

Position Summary

Under direct supervision of a Pharmacist, assists in the timely and accurate dispensing of sterile hazardous and non-hazardous medications to patients in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

Work Schedule

• Overnight, 7 on/7 off

Required Qualifications

We are open to filling this position with a Certified or Non-Certified technician. Requirements for each are outlined below:

Certified Pharmacy Technician

• Must be registered with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Technician certification required. Certification as CPhT through either the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT).

Non-Certified Technician

• Must be registered with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician

Preferred Qualifications

• One or more recent years Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
