Job summary

MetroHealth System is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmaceutical care across specialty and inpatient pharmacies. Under Pharmacist supervision, you will deliver medication-related services to in-house patients and assist with home medication services, while aiding quality control of distribution technologies.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Must be 18+ with no felony convictions per Ohio law.
PTCB or ExCPT certification within 90 days of hire; maintain certification.
Active Ohio Board of Pharmacy Certified Pharmacy Technician status.
If currently a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Ohio Board, must become certified within 90 days.
Willing and able to travel to external satellite locations with reliable transportation.
Ability to interact effectively with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

Deliver medication-related services to in-house patients in specialty and inpatient pharmacies.
Assist Pharmacists with quality control procedures for drug distribution technologies.
