Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe and accurate prescription fulfillment in a retail store setting. You will follow SOPs, assist patients at pick-up and drive-thru, and help ensure a caring, compliant service experience consistent with CVS standards.

As part of the pharmacy team, you will complete required training, meet licensure requirements, and participate in inventory and customer service activities while contributing to a welcoming

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements – age, education, licensure/certification.
• If state board does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.
• If state board does not address a minimum educational requirement, must have a high school diploma or equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school or a high school equivalency program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists manage patient health.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic, personalized patient experiences at pickup, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Complete basic inventory activities and cycle counts as directed by leadership.
• Contribute to a high-performing team and be receptive to feedback; expand clinical and technical knowledge.
• Travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed by the business.
• Comply with all relevant laws and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Deliver additional health care services (e.g., immunizations) where allowed by law and training.
