Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support mental health and specialty pharmacy services in Bloomington, IN. You will dispense prescriptions and perform clerical duties under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm CST. You’ll work with a coordinated care team to ensure accurate dispensing, inventory management, and compliance with federal and state requirements, while delivering excellent customer

Qualifications

• Indiana Pharmacy Technician license is active and unrestricted.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Clerical duties and inventory management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
• Fills prescription orders under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist.
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies medication stock and enters data to maintain inventory records.
• Keeps the pharmacy in compliance with federal and state requirements.
• Performs various clerical duties relating to the department.
