Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to support mental health and specialty pharmacy services, primarily dispensing prescriptions under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm EST at 65 Airport Pkwy, Greenwood, IN.

Responsibilities include customer service, inventory management, data entry, and compliance with federal/state requirements.

Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in Indiana.
Access to reliable transportation.
Preferred: National Pharmacy Technician certification.

Responsibilities

Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff.
Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the pharmacist.
Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies.
Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.
Assists pharmacist in pharmacy functions and ensures compliance with federal and state requirements.
Performs various clerical duties relating to the department.
Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills.
Other duties as assigned.
