Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering accurate prescriptions and exceptional patient care within our stores. You will help ensure safe operations, assist with immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed, and maintain regulatory compliance across duties.

The role emphasizes accuracy, empathy in customer interactions, and adherence to SOPs while supporting a safe and inclusive store environment.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice.
• If state board has no age requirement, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• Minimum educational requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent, or active enrollment in a high school or equivalency program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to help Pharmacists manage and improve patient health.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Assist patients with empathy and care: immunizations, services, and problem resolution.
• Maintain inventory and handle receiving, returns-to-stocks, and counting activities as directed.
• Contribute to a high-performing team and be receptive to feedback; adapt to store needs.
• Travel to stores in the market as needed to support business.
