Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support store pharmacy teams. You will assist in prescription fulfillment, customer service, and adherence to SOPs while ensuring patient safety and quality care.

You may provide immunizations where permitted and complete required training and licensing as per state guidelines. This role emphasizes empathy, accuracy, and a safe, inclusive workflow in a retail pharmacy setting.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice.
• State licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
• Regular and predictable attendance including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist Pharmacists with patient health.
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Provide empathetic and caring service at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Assist with basic inventory activities and proper handling of deliveries.
• Contribute to a high-performing team and be open to feedback.
• Be flexible for scheduling and travel to stores in the market as needed.
• Comply with laws, regulations, and CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Deliver immunizations and other patient health care services where allowed by law.
