Job summary

CVS Health in Philadelphia is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for on-site, full-time work in a fast-paced retail pharmacy. You will support pharmacists, fill prescriptions, and assist customers at pick-up, drive-thru, and phone interactions while following SOPs and ensuring patient safety.

The role requires 1–3 years’ experience, state licensure, and High School diploma or equivalent. Strong customer service, communication, and math skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements, licensure, and certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or actively enrolled in a program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on tasks and pivot between duties to meet patient and business needs.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: assist patients and work with colleagues in a friendly manner.
• Communication Skills: clear verbal and written communication with patients and staff.
• Mathematical Reasoning: compute days supply, dosage, and pill counts.
• Problem Resolution: handle patient or colleague inquiries effectively.
• Physical Demands: able to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for extended periods.
