Job summary
CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support a busy store pharmacy team. This part-time role requires assisting pharmacists, processing prescriptions, and delivering compassionate customer service.
You will help with immunizations and point-of-care testing where allowed, while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include following SOPs, accurate label creation, inventory tasks, and contributing to a high-performing team culture.
Qualifications
- Must comply with state board requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
- If no minimum age is specified by the state board, must be at least 16 years old.
- State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
Responsibilities
- Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
- Contributing to safe and effective pharmacy operations and patient care.
- Handle pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
- Assist patients with empathy and provide exceptional service at multiple touchpoints.
