Job summary
CVS Health is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in a CVS Retail location. You will assist with prescription processing, patient service, immunizations where permitted, and adherence to SOPs to ensure safe, accurate, and compassionate care.
Responsibilities include inventory tasks, assisting in various workstations (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off), and providing excellent customer experiences while maintaining compliance with laws and privacy
Qualifications
- Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
- Minimum age 16 years if not mandated by the state board.
- Minimum education is a high school diploma or equivalent, or active enrollment in high school or equivalent program.
- State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.
Responsibilities
- Follow SOPs to assist Pharmacists with patient health and workflow.
- Fulfill prescriptions accurately and safely across all workstations.
- Offer immunizations and other services as allowed by law.
- Contribute to inventory activities and cycle counts as directed.
- Remain flexible for scheduling and travel to stores in the market as needed.
- Protect patient privacy and comply with all regulations and policies.
