Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams with operational and service excellence in our stores. Technicians assist with fulfilling prescriptions safely and accurately, and provide compassionate customer service, following SOPs and state regulations.

Role includes flexible scheduling, potential immunization support where permissible, and opportunities to grow within a patient-centered retail pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing practice
• Minimum age 16 if not specified by state board
• State and national licensure/certification requirements vary by state

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs at each workstation to assist Pharmacists
• Follow workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment
• Provide empathetic service and improve patient experiences at pickup, drive-thru, and by phone
• Assist with inventory tasks and returns-to-stocks as directed
• Support training and stay flexible for scheduling and market needs
• Comply with all relevant laws, regulations and CVS policies to protect patient safety and privacy
• Deliver additional health services where permitted and trained
