Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy teams in delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and exceptional patient service. You will help manage daily operations, uphold SOPs, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and a willingness to learn through a rigorous training program while supporting immunizations and additional patient care services where permitted.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements for the practice of pharmacy.
• If no minimum age is mandated by the state board, candidate must be at least 16 years old.
• If no minimum educational requirement is mandated, candidate has a high school diploma or is actively enrolled in high school or equivalent.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within the designated timeframe.
• Concentrate on tasks and pivot quickly to meet patient and business needs.
• Support pharmacy workflow procedures for safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Demonstrate empathy and deliver compassionate care to patients and families.
• Assist with inventory tasks and comply with security and privacy standards.
• Be flexible to travel to stores in the market as needed.
