Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our store pharmacy team. You will support pharmacists in dispensing medications, handling daily operations, and delivering compassionate patient care across pick-up, drive-thru, and phone interactions.

You will complete required training, meet state licensing requirements, and maintain accuracy and safety in all tasks. This role includes weekend availability and a 40-hour work week with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board of pharmacy requirements.
• If the state board of pharmacy does not address a minimum age, must be at least 16 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or actively enrolled in high school or high school equivalency program.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Follow SOPs at each workstation to aid pharmacists in patient health.
• Assist patients with empathetic service at pick-up, drive-thru, and over the phone.
• Complete basic inventory activities and cycle counts per policy.
• Contribute to a high-performing team and be open to feedback.
• Remain flexible for scheduling and travel to stores in the market as needed.
• Comply with CVS policies to ensure patient safety and privacy.
• Deliver additional health care services where allowable by law and training.
