HealthPoint is a community-focused non-profit network delivering accessible care. This Pharmacy Technician role supports pharmacists with medication dispensing, insurance processing, and patient interactions across multiple sites in Washington.

You will ensure accurate records, inventory control, and adherence to regulatory standards while providing compassionate service and teamwork in a diverse environment.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician certification from an accredited program.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions; strong listening and communication skills.
• Bi-lingual abilities are preferred.
• Proficiency with dispensing software and EMR systems.
• Knowledge of insurance processing and third-party billing.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medicine under the supervision and instruction of the Pharmacist, including data entry, insurance input, labeling and packaging.
• Process third-party insurance claims and obtain prior authorizations as needed; resolve insurance issues.
• Maintain inventory and stock, manage 340B/DSCSA compliance, and ensure dispensing software accuracy.
• Assist MAP Coordinator with processing manufacturer-supplied medications and contacting patients.
• Train patients on at-home devices and provide medication information and counseling.
