Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate medication experiences in-store. You will assist pharmacists, fill prescriptions, manage workflow, and help patients with their health care needs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include adhering to SOPs, completing training, pursuing required licensure/certification, and providing immunization support where permitted.

Qualifications

• Must comply with state board requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.
• Minimum age requirements vary by state; where required, may be 16 or older.
• State-level licensure and national certification requirements vary by state.

Responsibilities

• Follow pharmacy SOPs at each workstation to support pharmacists.
• Assist with production, pickup, drive-thru, and other workflow for safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Contribute to patient experiences with empathy and care; resolve issues and answer questions.
• Complete basic inventory activities and assist with orders, returns, and cycle counts.
• Maintain patient privacy, safety, and compliance with applicable laws and CVS policies.
