Job summary
Providence Jobs in Missoula MT is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to perform duties under a pharmacist's supervision, filling physician orders and serving pharmacy clients. The role requires Montana licensure or temporary permits and at least 1 year of pharmacy practice experience.
Preferred candidates have completed a technician training program and possess immunization/MTM specialty skills. This is an on-site, per-diem position within Providence’s hospital network.
Qualifications
- Montana Pharmacy Technician License is required.
- Montana Pharmacy Technician Temporary Practice Permit is required.
- Montana Pharmacy Technician Provisional License is required.
- 1 year experience (2080 hours) in pharmacy practice.
- 1 year customer service experience.
- Internal promotion candidates must be competent in all responsibilities of an Associate Pharmacy Technician.
Responsibilities
- Fill physician orders for patient medications under a Registered Pharmacist's supervision.
- Communicate with and service the needs of the Pharmacy clientele.
- Maintain advanced knowledge in one or more specialty areas (e.g., immunization administration, MTM).
