Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team. The PRN technician will float to locations within the Triad region, primarily covering 1st shift, Monday through Friday.

Strong attention to detail and excellent communication are essential as you assist pharmacists and help ensure accurate dispensing and inventory control. Ideal candidates hold a HS diploma or GED and have experience in pharmacy settings; licensure or certifications within 60 days are required or

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• One year acute care pharmacy experience or equivalent required.
• Current state board registry; PTCB or NHA certification within 60 days.
• Active enrollment in accredited pharmacy school with active NCBOP license considered.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications
• Assist pharmacists with daily operations
• Maintain medication inventory and records
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable support to patients and staff
