Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team across the Triad region, primarily 1st shift, Monday through Friday, on a PRN basis. You will accurately prepare and dispense medications, assist pharmacists with daily operations, and maintain medication inventory and records while providing friendly, knowledgeable support to patients and staff.

Education includes a High School Diploma or GED with a 2-year/Associate degree preferred; licensure and ongoing certification

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year/associate degree preferred.
• 1 year Acute: minimum two pharmacy skills or equivalent experience required.
• Current state Board registration; PTCB or NHA within 60 days of hire or enrollment in pharmacy school.
• Specialized certificates (PTCB/NHA/FPGEE/FPGEC) to be obtained within 12 months of hire.
