Job summary

HCA Healthcare's St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II PRN to accurately package and dispense medications, maintain storage and security, and support the pharmacy team.

You will interact with hospital staff, transport items, and perform ADC routines while helping manage drug supplies cost-effectively. The role includes mentoring new technicians and assisting the Pharmacy Director with special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • CPhT certified required.
  • Pharmacy Technician License required.
  • Three years of experience required.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Pharmacy Technician II is responsible for accurately performing all advanced and basic pharmacy technician functions in a timely manner. In addition, this position maybe responsible for performing duties associated with Automated Dispensing Cabinets and other specialized duties as assigned by the pharmacy management team. In this role:

  • You will be responsible for maintaining medication storage and security.

  • You will interact with hospital personnel both in person and by phone.

  • You will accurately package and prepare medications for dispensing.

  • You will transport medications and supplies to various areas of the hospital.

  • You will perform daily Automated Dispensing Cabinet routines as assigned.

  • You will help manage drug supplies in a cost effective manner and identify opportunities to minimize waste. You will help mentor new technicians and assist the Pharmacy Director with special projects as needed

What qualifications you will need:
  • (CPhT) Certified Pharmacy Technician

  • (PharmTech) Pharmacy Technician License

  • Three (3) year experience Required Years of Experience
