HCA Healthcare's St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II to support advanced and basic technician functions.
You will store medications securely, interact with hospital staff, package and dispense prescriptions, transport supplies, and perform ADC routines while assisting with cost management and mentoring new staff. The role requires CPhT certification, a Pharmacy Technician License, and at least one year of experience in a hospital setting.

As a Pharmacy Technician II is responsible for accurately performing all advanced and basic pharmacy technician functions in a timely manner. In addition, this position maybe responsible for performing duties associated with Automated Dispensing Cabinets and other specialized duties as assigned by the pharmacy management team. In this role:
You will be responsible for maintaining medication storage and security.
You will interact with hospital personnel both in person and by phone.
You will accurately package and prepare medications for dispensing.
You will transport medications and supplies to various areas of the hospital.
You will perform daily Automated Dispensing Cabinet routines as assigned.
You will help manage drug supplies in a cost effective manner and identify opportunities to minimize waste. You will help mentor new technicians and assist the Pharmacy Director with special projects as needed
