Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support preparation, packaging, and distribution of medications in a hospital setting. You will help maintain inventory levels and ensure proper documentation is kept, supporting patient care across departments.

Requires high school diploma or equivalent, six months hospital experience preferred, and current Maryland registration with PTCB certification. Full-time, night shift at Bayview Campus with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Completion of a pharmacy technician training program preferred.
• Current Maryland registration and PTCB certification required.

The Pharmacy Technicians are responsible for a variety of duties to assist in the preparation and packaging of medications, distribution and delivery of medications, supporting the maintenance of proper inventory levels, and keeping appropriate records and documentation.

Requirements

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of previous hospital experience preferred.
• Completion of a pharmacy technician training program is preferred.
• Requires knowledge of pharmacy work routines, procedures, materials, terminology, and medication names.
• Current registration with the Maryland State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certified required.
