Job summary

NorthShore University HealthSystem at Elmhurst Hospital in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II for the evening shift (2:30 pm - 11:00 pm). This full-time role requires a high school diploma or GED, an Illinois Pharmacy Technician license (or eligible certs), and IV room experience preferred.

Hourly Pay Range

$19.62 - $30.41 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

• Position: Pharmacy Technician II
• Location: Elmhurst Hospital, Elmhurst, IL
• Full Time - 40 hours/week
• Hours: Evening Shift (2:30 pm - 11:00 pm); every other weekend and rotating holidays required (Approx. 4-5 holidays per year)

What you will need

• Education (Required):
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Certifications (Required):
  • Current License as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Illinois
  • One of the following must be met:
    • Current Pharmacy Technician Certification or must obtain CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) within 90 days of hire
    • Successfully passed the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ExCPT) examination pending certification
    • Current Pharmacy Technician license with "Student" designation issued by the State of Illinois
• IV room experience preferred
